PESB RECRUITMENT OF DIRECTOR (M & CP)
Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) was incorporated in 1957 under the Agricultural Produce (Development and Warehousing) Corporations Act, 1956 which was repealed and replaced by the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962. CWC provides scientific storage facilities for a wide range of commodities including agricultural inputs and produce, notified commodities etc. besides providing logistic services and related infrastructural facilities to the trade and industry. It is a Schedule- ‘A’ Mini-Ratna Category-I CPSE in Trade & Marketing services under the administrative control of Department of Food & Public Distribution,


                                                    

                                                        





 Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution. As on 01st April, 2019 CWC operated 422 warehouses throughout the country with a total storage capacity of about 10 million tonnes. Its Registered and Corporate offices are in New Delhi. The company employed 2808 regular employees (Executives:946 and Non-excecutives:1862) as on March 31, 2019. The authorised and paid up share capital of the Company was Rs. 100 crores and Rs. 68.02 crores respectively as on March 31, 2019. The shareholding of the Government of India in the company is 55.02% as on March 31, 2019.

The applicant should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in an organization of repute. The applicant should have at least two years cumulative experience during the last 10 years in the fields of Marketing/Logistics/Trade & Commerce. Applicants having experience in Container Freight Stations/Inland Container Depots/Cold storage/Storage of commodities will have added advantage.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
1. The applicants should submit their applications through proper channel as follows: (a) Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services: through Cadre Controlling authority; (b) CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in CPSE: through the concerned Administrative Ministry; (c) Below Board level in CPSE: through the concerned CPSE; (d) CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in State PSE: through the concerned Administrative Secretary and Cadre Controlling Authority, if any, of the State Government; (e) Below Board level in SPSE: through the concerned SPSE; (f) Private Sector: directly to the PESB. 2.
