National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), then Cement Research Institute of India (CRI) was founded on 24th December 1962 with the objective to promote research and scientific work connected with cement and building materials trade and industry. Today, NCB is the premier body under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, for technology development, transfer, continuing education and industrial services for cement and construction industries. Geographically, NCB has its corporate centre and main laboratories located at Ballabgarh (near New Delhi); another well established regional centre at Hyderabad and a Centre at Ahmedabad (Gujarat). NCB’s areas of work span over the entire spectrum of cement manufacturing and usage – starting with geological exploration of raw materials through the processes, the machinery, the manufacturing aspects, energy and environmental considerations to the final utilization of materials in actual construction, condition monitoring & rehabilitation of buildings and structures. NCB serves as the nodal agency for providing the Government the necessary support for formulation of its policy and planning activities related to growth and development of cement industry.

Painter 20,0001 Matriculation Candidate should have minimum 10 years experience in painting & white washing work for residential and official premises. Facilitating in making of stickers (Hindi & English), name sign boards, signage, writing work at various 'places. Polishing of doors, sofas, furniture's, tables etc. Painting of Scientific eqUipment and machineries which require precision work. Indenting of requirement of painting and white washing item both for annual and special requirement. Maintaining stock register for painting and white washing items. Grinding and polishing of mosaic floors. Making local purChases through cash cards/RTGS mode for different requirements. Preparing of different shades of color as per requirement.40
Plumber 20,0001 Matriculation with 2 years regular I.T.1 certificate in fitter trade Candidate should have minimum 08 years experience in plumbing works like ensuring supply of water at overhead tanks, repairs & maintenance of water pipe lines and drainage system for residential and official premises. repairs & maintenance of ' washrooms at official premises, hostels and colonies, operation and maintenance of fountain, fire .water tanks, rain water harvesting pits, payment of water bills and taking care of water meters in coordination with state government bodies. maintaining stocks for plumbing items, cleaning of solar water heating system installed at roof of new hostel block and dining area and operation & maintenance of ciewatering pumps. 35

1. Preference will be given to candidates having meritorious academic qualifications and relevant experience 2. Age Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India Rules to candidates belonging to 'SC'. 'ST', OBC categories 3.
