The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) (IAST: Paramāṇu Ūrjā Vibhāga) is a department directly under the Prime Minister of India with headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.DAE was established in 1954 by a Presidential Order. DAE has been engaged in the development of nuclear power technology, applications of radiation technologies in the fields of agriculture, medicine, industry and basic research. DAE comprises five research centres, three industrial organisations, five public sector undertakings and three service organisations. It has under its aegis two boards for promoting and funding extramural research in nuclear and allied fields, mathematics and a national institute (deemed university). It also supports eight institutes of international repute engaged in research in basic sciences, astronomy, astrophysics, cancer research and education. It also has in its fold an educational society that provides educational facilities for children of DAE employees. The important programmes of the DAE are directed towards: Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES) runs 31 Schools/ Junior Colleges located at 15 centres in different parts of India. AEES invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment of variousteaching posts mentioned below. The Pay and Allowances are as per Central Government Rules to the extent applicable to the AEES from time to time. E.2 The decision of AEES about eligibility conditions and the mode of selection of the applicants shall be final and binding.
E.3 Travelling Allowance: Eligible outstation SC/ST, EWS candidates will be paid to and frosecond-class train fare or ordinary State Transport bus fare by shortest route, as per Government rules, when called for Skill Test only.No TA is admissible to SC/ST, EWS candidates if they are already in the service of Central/State Government Corporations, Public Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Local Government institutions and Panchayats.
E.4 The date of determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect (i.e. age limit, essential qualification and other criteria etc.) shall be the last date of online submission of application.
