NAVODAYA VIDVALAVA SAMITI, REGIONAL OFFICE, SHILLONG TIME SCHEDULE AND OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS IN CONNECTION WITH APPOINTMENT OF VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF TEACHERS AND STAFF IN JNVS UNDER SHlLLONG. Appointment on contract basis for the post of all PGTs, TGTs,Misc. Teacher including Librarian and Staff Nurse will be made on marks basis and on that effect panel will be prepared as per guidelines given in Annexure—I. No Viva—voice will be conducted for the appointment of TGTs, Misc, Teachers including Librarian and Staff Nurse on contract basis, whereas for PGTs Viva-voice will be conducted and consider for the selection. Appointment will be made on trial basis for 10 days initially and if their services are found satisfactory, the contract period will be extended up to 10 months or till such a time the regular incumbent joins against the vacant post. whichever is earlier. In case the regular incumbent joins during contract period, one month salary to the contractual staff (Teaching and non-teaching staff) will not be paid. Candidates will report and submit their filled»up applications in prescribed format along with copies of testimonials for all categories of Teaching and non-Teachlng staff at the venue on the speciļ¬ed dates for the verification of records.
