Educational Qualification and Experience:	Bachelor of Engineering (E and C, CS, CST, CE, IT)/MCA with knowledge of Software Engineering over a complete project cycle with minimum 15 years Experience. or Master of Engineering/M.Tech (CS, CE, CST) with 12 years experience
Job profile	Programmatic Responsibilities Manages project personnel Monitoring sub-recipient performance Initiates required project changes Request prior approval when necessary Maintains and retains project data and materials and documentation Completes progress reports Initiates timely requests for prior approval for changes when required Impart training . Technical Responsibility Design Algorithm based on requirements studies/provided by users Design modules with the help of Team leads Should discharge duties of Team Lead if he is not available or on leave Maintain Technical versions of the software and programmes Develop and enforce CMS database standards, guidelines and operational policies and procedures Review Physical structures Review performance, maintenance and utilities associated with each structure Review necessary storage media (DASD and Tape) Review SQL performance and Tuning Review application's access to the database structures Review back up and recovery strategies Review where required, the purge/archive area Monitoring database/subsystem Performance issues Review Migration Plans Optimize programme codes for faster to the Data Base Prepare logical view of the data maintained .

Educational Qualification and Experience:	Bachelor of Engineering (E and C, CS, CST, CE, IT)/MCA with knowledge of Software Engineering with minimum 12 years Experience. or Master of Engineering/M.Tech (CS, CE, CST) with 09 years experience
Job profile	Programmatic Responsibilities Maintain infrastructure within ECI building Maintain and upkeep record of infrastructure in State/UT offices Support officials and Staff for handling I.T equipments Assess/propose updates in the infrastructure based on upcoming requirement Manage audio/video set up in Meeting Halls Maintain license of software Mange maintenance of the lT infrastructure Manage Operating System failures and recovery Manage conditioned power supply for lT equipment Manage Network Infrastructure in ECI Manage links for Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi, Broad Band and DNS Maintain records of the usage of, internet by officials Control accessibility on each access (PC/Laptop/Mobile/pTD etc.) Manage the schedule of routine maintenance of devices like printers etc. .

The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post herd intermediate preceding this appointment in the Election commission of India or some other organization/ department of the Central Govt. shall not ordinarily exceed three years.


The applications in the enclosed proforma (Annexure-l), along with attested copies of ACR/APARfor the last 3 years of the officers who could be spared within 15 days in the event of his/her selection, may be forwarded to the Principal secretary (Admn.), Erection commission of India, Nirvana sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi_110001 on or before 30.04.2016, strictly through proper channel. Appreciation received after the last date, not received through proper channel or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.

The pay and terms of deputation of the Officer selected on deputation will be regulated under the provisions contained in the Deptt. of personnel and Training O.M No.6/8/2009,Estt.(pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.

The officers who apply for the post will not be allowed to with draw their candidature subsequently.

The Commission reserves the right to withdraw the circular/cancel the appointment process at any time without assigning any reason.
