The Indian Space Programme is aimed at promoting the development and application of Space Science and Technology for the socio-economic benefit of the country and also providing valuable service to the Nation in a self-reliant manner and witnessed several major accomplishments and scaled newer heights in the recent past. The remarkable success in the Space Programme was the result of well-orchestrated activities undertaken by ISRO aimed at mastering cutting edge technology through indigenous efforts and utilizing the expertise available with the Organization. The future ISRO programmes envisage development of cutting edge technologies for reusable launch vehicles, advanced high efficient semi-cryogenic propulsion system, air breathing propulsion, advanced communication satellite-based navigation system, hyper spectral imaging sensors and inter-planetary missions. ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) is the lead centre of DOS/ISRO for the Satellite Technology in the Country and has grown into a premier centre for research and development with the primary responsibility for developing Satellite Technology and implementation of satellite Systems for various Scientific, Technological and Application missions.

The employees will be governed by the New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme. - The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 26-03-2016 and 16-04-2016. Candidates may visit our website at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 26-03-2016 and 16-04-2016. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application correctly and compulsorily. (Hall Tickets will be sent by E-mail only)
- The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a 'No Objection Certificate (NOC)' from the employer concerned by those already in employments under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body, duly indicating the name, the post for which applied/post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse of the NOC.
Payment of Application Fee :
- There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) (non-refundable) for each application for male candidates belonging to UNRESERVED (UR) AND OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES (OBC) community. After registration of application online, the candidate has to download and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system which will contain the Name of the candidate, Regstration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No. and Post Code. The candidates may visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account (35606641030), by using the personalized payment challan of State Bank of India on any day between 26-03-2016 and 17-04-2016. The candidate may download and print the personalized payment challan from the ISRO system on any day between 26-03-2016 and 16-04-2016 and remit the application fee before the prescribed last date i.e., 17-04-2016. Upon remittance of the application fee, one copy of the challan form will be retained by State Bank of India (Bank copy) and remaining two parts will be given to the candidates. Out of the two challan parts, the candidate has to send one part of the challan form (ISRO copy) to Sr. Administrative Officer (RMT), ISRO Satellite Centre, Old Airport Road, Vimanapura Post, Bangalore -560 017 by ordinary post superscribing on the envelope "RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ______(Post Name) [______ (Post No.)]" on the envelope within 07 days of filling of application and in any case not later than 25-04-2016. Please note that the applications of male candidates (UR and OBC), in respect of which Application Fee has not been received, will not be considered. The remaining one copy of challan form (Applicant copy) shall be retained by the candidate for future reference. The payment shall be made through cash deposit only. Payment of Application Fee in any other like cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc. are not allowed. Applications, in respect of which copy of challan form, after remittance of prescribed application fee (ISRO copy) is not received in ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore on or before 25-04-2016 will not be considered for further processing under any circumstances.
- Please note that the applications of male candidates (UR and OBC), in respect of which Application Fee has not been received, will not be considered.
- All Women candidates, all Scheduled Caste (SC); Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-Serviceman (Ex-S), Physically Challenged (PHC) candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee. However, after registration of application on-line, the candidate has to down-load and print the personalized registration confirmation form, from the ISRO system which contains the Name of the Candidate, Registration Number, Advertisement No., and Post Code for future reference.
- Note: All Women candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC); Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-Serviceman (Ex), Physically Challenged (PHC) candidates will not get "Bank Challan copy". Such candidates will only get a "Personalised Registration confirmation Form" which has to be retained by candidates for future reference.
General Conditions:
- Applications made on-line only will be entertained. Physical applications will not be entertained.

- Outstation candidates shortlisted for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class sleeper Railway fare by the shortest distance from the address given in on-line application to the place of interview or non-A/c Bus fare or actual fare whichever is less on production of proof of journey, irrespective of the mode of journey viz., Rail, Bus, Air, etc
- Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, at the time of interview. If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid. ISRO reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, if it so decides.
