AGE LIMIT:
- The age should be between 18 to 27 years. The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case will be the closing date for receipt of application from candidates in India.
- The upper age is also relaxable up to 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative (ministerial) category)..
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere fulfilling higher qualifications do not entail a candidate to be called for written test/typing test. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement are
large and it will not be convenient or possible for the Institute to call all those candidates for written test/typing test, the Director, IASRI reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualification, experience etc.
After screening the applications, the candidates will be called for written test/ typing test - Selected candidate will be under “Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 1-1-2004 as per Central Govt. rules mutatismutandis as applicable to Indian Council of Agricultural Research employees and as amended from time to time.
- Persons already in employment should route their application through proper channel
- No correspondence will be entertained from any candidates for selection/ test/appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualifications.
- Original Certificates and mark sheets should not be submitted along with the application but should be brought as and when called for selection process.
- For Un-Reserved (UR)/Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, application fee is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) and Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) Women candidates are exempted from application fee.
- The selected candidates will be posted at IASRI, New Delhi. However, appointee will be liable to serve in any institute of ICAR located anywhere in India.
- No T.A/D.A will be paid for attending written test/typing test.
- The dates on which and the places at which the examination will be held shall be fixed by the Institute.
- No candidate will be admitted to the examination unless he/she holds certificate of admission from the institute.
- After the written examination, the candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks as may be fixed by IASRI at its discretion shall be summoned for skill test.
- Appointments will be made by IASRI initially on probation for a period of two years. The period of probation may be extended, if considered necessary.
- A candidate must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of his duties as an officer of the service. A candidate who after such medical examination, as may be prescribed by the competent authority is found not to satisfy these requirement will not be appointed. Only such candidate as are likely to be considered for appointment will be medically examined.
- Success at examination confers no right to appointment, unless IASRI is satisfied, after such enquiry as may be considered necessary, that the candidate having regard to this character and antecedents is suitable in all respects for appointment to the post.
- The Director, IASRI reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, change any of the conditions, change the dates of tests/interview and reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.
- All the dispute/ litigations, if any, will be subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.
