The last date for receipt of application is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News. In case of candidates belonging to Meghalaya, Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkam, Laddak Sub Division of Jammu and Kashmir state, Lahaul and spiti District of Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island & Lakshadweep shall be 28 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. However the crucial date for determining the age limit for all shall be the closing date for receipt of application i.e 21 days from publication.

Degree of Disability for Reservation: As per existing Government policy, Person would be eligible for reservation in service/posts who suffers not less than 40% of relevant disability. Res for Physical – Hearing impairment means loss of 60 (sixty) decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. The disability certificate shall be from a competent Medical Board constituted by the Central or State Government Hospital consisting of at least three members. Out of which one shall be specialist in the particular field i.e. Hearing disability. A person with 100% DEAF AND DUMB is NOT to be appointed as Fireman.
Vacancies may vary (Increase/ Decrease) subject to availability of post or change in PE and non extension of validity of NAC or as per Government orders / Higher Headquarters as per policy on subject.
Candidates will fwd application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for through Ordinary / Registered / Speed Post. Application in person will not be accepted. Candidates are requested to superscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……….” on the top of envelope while sending the application form. Separate application is required if individual is applying for more than one post.

- Self addressed (correspondence address) envelop affixed with Rs. 25/- Postal stamps.
- Probation Period Post is permanent, subject to individual completing two years probation successfully.
- Any dispute with regard to the recruitment will be subject to the Courts having jurisdiction in Guwahati only.
- Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidates. No enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.
- No TA/DA is admissible Duration of each test can be 02 to 05 days or more. Candidates will make their own arrangements for lodging/boarding during the test/interview.
