Government of India has established Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) including Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) in NITI Aayog. The overarching purpose of this Mission is to augment the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in India and find ultra-low cost solutions to India’s pressing and intractable problems.
NITI Aayog is looking for three (3 nos.) young dynamic persons having experience in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, scientific temper, creating awareness at the grass root level, managing programmes for establishment of incubation centres to support startup business in technology driven areas, incentivize innovators through programmes for financial assistance in collaboration with academia and corporate sector.

| Remuneration: | The total financial compensation shall depend upon Qualification and Experience of the Candidate at the time of selection. |
| Period of engagement: | The person would be initially appointed for a period upto 31st March, 2019 which may be extended further. |
| Eligibility : | Essential: (a) Master’s degree in Science, or Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technology. (b) Minimum 5 years of work experience in technology,innovation and entrepreneurship, financial / business management Desirable: MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management. Knowledge of IPR regime, skills in evolving communications and marketing would be desirable. |

| Duties: | The persons selected will be assigned the responsibility of planning, implementation and monitoring of various initiatives,programmes and activities being carried out to fulfill the objectives of the Atal Innovation Mission. Some of the indicative duties are: (i) Policy formulation for promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship both within and outside the Government systems. (ii) Creation and execution of a structured IPR regime for providing support to incubators / innovators of AIM. (iii) Coordination and interaction between various Government Ministries as well as State Governments for promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as to provide inputs for formulating policy / guidelines. (iv) Support in establishment of new incubation centres with focus on specific sectors, organize training sessions for the Incubator team and provide guidelines for operations. (v) Support existing incubators for scaling up. (vi) Support and monitor the tinkering labs that have been provided the grant. (vii) Assessment and evaluation of new initiatives supported under the AIM. (viii) Assist in launching the Grand Challenge Award programme for finding ultra-low-cost solutions to India’s pressing and intractable problems. (ix) Develop training programmes for education of Entrepreneurs, Innovators, start-ups. (x) Establish relevant national and international linkages required to develop the innovation ecosystem in the country. (xi) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. |
