Advertisement For Recruitment of Meritorious Sports Persons As CT/GD(Male & Female) in Border Security Force Against Sports Quota
Applications are invited from the citizens of India (Male & Female) to fill up 196 Vacancies
of Constable (GD) (Male-160 & Female-36) against Sports Quota in BORDER SECURITY
FORCE in the pay band-l Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs.2000/- & other allowances as
admissible to Central Govemment Employees from time to time under the rule. The discipline wise
breakup ofthe vacancies are as under

(ii) Last Date : 30 Days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment news.45 Days in the case of candidates belonging to far-flung areas of NE region,Ladakh division of J&K,Sikkim,Pnagi Sub division of Chamba district ,Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh ,A & N Island,Lakshdweep.
2.Eligibility Conditions :
i) Age : 18 to 23 years as on 1st August 2016.Relaxation as per Govt Order.
ii) Education : Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board /University
iii) Sports Qualification :
Sportsperson who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the games / sports mentioned in the list at para 01 above
(OR)
Sports person who have represented their University in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the Inter - University Sports Board in any of the sports /Games shown in the list at Para-01 above.
(OR)
Sports Persons of Merit who have represented state schools team in National sports / Games for schools conducted by the all India school Game Federation in any of the Game / Sports shown in the list at para -01 above.
3.How To Apply :
Prescribed application form available in BSF website www.bsf.nic.in which may be downloaded and printed out in fullscap size (Single side) paper.The Eligible and desirous candidates may send their application in the prescribed proforma duly completed in all respect addressed to "The Commandant,25 Bn BSF,Chhawla Camp,Post Office-Najafgarh,New Delhi,Pincode -110071.
4.Selection Process :
All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card / call letter to appear in the requirement process i.e. trail.Candidates will have to undergo the following process of recruitment
i) Height Bar / Test
ii) Identity Check
iii)Checking of Testimonials / Documents.
iv) Physical standard Test.
v) Trial in respective sports discipline.
vi) Medical examination.
