INVITES UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES TO APPEAR IN RECRUITMENT RALLY FROM 05 MARCH 2016 TO 09 MARCH 2016 TO JOIN AS AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘Y’ (NON-TECHNICAL) {AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN, GROUND TRAINING INSTRUCTOR AND INDIAN AIR FORCE (POLICE) ONLY} TRADES AT INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE (NEAR INDOOR STADIUM), WATER WORKS ROAD, SHREE VIHAR, PURI (ODISHA).
1.Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from the designated Districts of State of Odisha to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades will be held at Industrial Training Institute (Near Indoor Stadium), Water Works Road, Shree Vihar, Puri – 752003 (Odisha) from 05 March 2016 to 09 March 2016 as per the Selection Programme given below.
2.Registration Schedule: All eligible candidates are required to fill the Registration Form (typed & filled in English only, on A4 size paper) downloaded from official website and report to registration venue along with duly filled registration form and original copies of Passing Certificate, Marks Sheet of 10th & 12th class, Domicile Certificate (if applicable) and Two copies of recent passport size photographs (taken not before January 2016). The Registration for the Recruitment Rally will be done as per the following schedule:

3. Selection Programme: The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Registered candidates are to report at the Rally Venue on date and time mentioned in the Admit Card. Only candidates in possession of Admit Card will be tested. (THE RECRUITMENT TEST IS NOT FOR SELECTION AS COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/PILOTS/NAVIGATORS).

4.Date of Birth Block:
- Candidates born between 01 August 1996 to 30 November 1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
- In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.
- Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Passed Two years Vocational Course recognized by Association of Indian Universities (CBSE / Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Education Kerala) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
6.Domicile Requirement :
To be eligible to appear in the rally at Industrial Training Institute (Near Indoor Stadium), Water Works Road, Shree Vihar, Puri – 752003 (Odisha) the candidates are required to satisfy the following conditions:
- The School / College / Institute from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical /administrative limits of specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 3 above) of State of Odisha. If the name of District is not mentioned with the name of Institution in the certificate / marks sheet of qualifying examination, the candidates are to produce ‘Domicile Certificate’ issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM or any official authorised by the State Government of Odisha.
- Permanent Domicile of specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 3 above) of State of Odisha who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India. However, such candidates have to produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority as given in sub-paragraph 6(a) above.
- Sons of Serving Air Force Personnel, irrespective of their domicile status may be permitted to appear in the rally subject to submission of Son of serving Air Force personnel (SOAFP) certificate (format available on AFNET CASB website) (or) PPO, Discharge Book, Service Certificate issued from AFRO/DAV for Sons of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel, in the following categories
- Father/Mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit located in the specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 3 above) of State of Odisha
- Ex-IAF personnel/families of deceased personnel who are residing in the specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 3 above) of State of Odisha (on production of proof of minimum stay of one year along with Original and a photocopy of Discharge Book, Service Certificate issued from AFRO/DAV for wards of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel).
(a) General Medical Standards for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades are as follows:

| Body Tattoo | Permanent body tattoos on inner face of the fore arms (inside of elbow to the wrist), Back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm and Tribals with tattoos which are as per custom and traditions of their tribes only are permitted. However, right to decide on acceptability/ unacceptability of the individual rests with the Selection Centre. Candidates with permanent body tattoos are to submit a photograph of the tattoo with details of size and type of the Tattoo. |
