SELECTION OF GRADUATE & TECHINICIAN APPRENTICES

National Remote Sensing Centre(NRSC), one of the leading Centres of ISRO invite on-line applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Graduate/Technician Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 in the following disciplines:

The duration of training will be One year from the date of joining and the stipend is 5000/- per month for Graduate Apprentice and 3542/- per month for Technician Apprentice.

The following are the condition applicable for selection of Graduate/Technician Apprentices:

  • Candidates are eligible for Apprenticeship Training within three years of their passing their qualifying examination
  • Eligible candidates from Southern Region only need to apply.
  • The induction of apprentices will be made strictly based on the position in the panel subject to the availability of vacancies. Selection is based on % of marks with due weight-age to reservation categories. The training of new batch is expected to start in April/May, 2016.
  • Candidates who had not undergone Apprenticeship only are eligible to apply. Combining of Apprenticeship with other institutions is not permitted.
  • Upper age limit is 35 years as on 06.03.2016. Age relaxation as per Government of India Orders are applicable in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWDs candidates are applicable as per apprentice act 1961.
  • Only Indian nationals need to apply.
  • Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentice Act 1961 for which they should execute a contract.
  • Candidates with one year or more job experience after acquiring the essential qualification either in government/public/private sectors are not eligible.
  • The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in NRSC or any other centres/Units of ISRO/DOS after completion of the Apprenticeship.

The site will remain open from 15.02.2016 (10.00 hrs) to 06.03.2016 (23.59 hrs) for registering the application. The confirmation copy generated after registering the on-line application may be kept carefully and should be submitted to NRSC, in the event of their selection
